Welcome to The Eliott Hotel , Gibraltar’s finest hotel, where we’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team.

Please note this has a 30-hour working week.

This being a detail-oriented role, strong organisational and numerical skills are essential. You’ll be supporting day-to-day financial tasks, ensuring accuracy across records, and assisting with reporting. A high level of attention to detail is key, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.

You’ll understand the importance of confidentiality, accuracy, and meeting deadlines, while maintaining a proactive and positive approach. Whether processing invoices, reconciling accounts, or supporting month-end tasks, your contribution will help keep our operations running smoothly.

What we need from you:

• A positive approach, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to accuracy

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

• Basic accounting knowledge or relevant experience (preferred)

• Good IT skills, including familiarity with accounting systems and Excel

• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
