BPO - Portal Support Representative (Hybrid Setup)

How You Spend Your Eight Hours

• Create and maintain vendor profiles in the client's agent portal, ensuring each one is complete and accurate.

• Coordinate internally to gather vendor information, documents, pricing, brochures, and sales resources.

• Contact each vendor annually to schedule and conduct a portal review call, walking through their page to identify outdated, missing, or inaccurate information.

• Update vendor portal pages based on information gathered from review calls, and obtain approval before publishing significant changes.

• Build working knowledge of telecom, connectivity, UCaaS, CCaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, SD-WAN, and mobility solutions to ask informed questions during vendor calls.

• Take accurate notes during vendor calls and translate discussions into clear portal updates.

• Review portal content for outdated, duplicate, or conflicting information, and correct terminology, spelling, grammar, and formatting issues.

• Process vendor-requested changes between annual reviews and track outstanding updates through to completion.

• Maintain a tracking system covering vendor contacts, review dates, requested and completed changes, and items pending approval.

• Escalate technical, pricing, commission, or contractual questions to the appropriate internal team rather than making assumptions.

• Provide regular reports on vendors reviewed, pages updated, outstanding items, and upcoming reviews

What You Must Possess

• Excellent written and spoken English with strong professional communication skills

• Comfortable conducting calls with U.S.-based business executives and vendor representatives

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills

• Experience working with websites, portals, CRM systems, or content management systems

• Ability to learn new technology products quickly

• Strong attention to detail and ability to document conversations accurately

• Comfortable working independently

• Experience in telecommunications, IT, cloud, SaaS, managed services, or technology is a plus

• Experience working with channel partners, technology vendors, distributors, or resellers is a plus

• Familiarity with UCaaS, CCaaS, connectivity, SD-WAN, cybersecurity, or cloud technologies is a plus

• Experience managing a large volume of vendor accounts is a plus
